SJB (St John Bosco Parish)

A couple weeks ago, I was early to hear the mass at SJB. The mass was 4pm and I was there by 3.. nothing better to do at home so...tambay..

Before, when I was considered a "youth", (still am though, according to the vatican, article something..hehehe..) ang tambayan ko ay ang simbahan..not because I was religious or anything but.. i belonged in a choir / group. Still am a member but in those days, dami kong groups. Sa mga barkada (mga 'veterans' baga), ako ang pinakamaraming sinalihang choir. I think it was six or five choirs. Naghanap ng "feeling of belonginess"-sorta.

Anyway, the place (parish/church) was always full of choir members and youth council members and maingay dahil sa daming activities.. ngayon, haay.. halos wala. Panahon lang talaga ang nakapagbago..

So, dahil maaga ako, i strolled down memory lane..below are the pix

From top to bottom (the walkway; the cross on the dome; the altar; the garden beside the church - there used to be huge tree there; the steps in which we usually made tambay before a mass; the hanging crucifix on the altar)

Testi

I've been obsessing with Friendster for quite sometime now. A sudden thought came to me one time... to search for my elementary and high school classmates in friendster.. and guess what? They weren't there. Or... I probably forgot their names...hehehe...

Funny thing about friendster is that manny of the account holders seem to be overflowing with friends, some up to 500+. While I, have a measly 120+. Hmm... should reconstruct my life goals to find that many friends? Ha! I'm assured that the 120+ friends that I have are REALLY my friends.

And another feature of friendster is the testimonial, providing friend-seekers insight into the personality of the account holder (never mind that the account-holder's own "about me" text) I'm flattered that a couple of close friends gave me a testimonial...(maybe it was because I wrote them one as well... :) ) I have 12 so far...while a friend of mine has 81...Hmm...me thinks that I am not that friendly? hehehe...or I just don't care about the numbers.

Where I am gong with this anyway? Nothing really. Just wanted to express some thoughts on friendship and friendster. Not much difference? I don't think so.

Test!

Test! Why Test? Typical first post for a new blogger...but I'm not new to blogging. I left blogging just recently because It wasn't going anywhere. At first, I was thrilled of the new outlet i had in venting frustrations, wishes and thoughts. Soon, it became exciting because I was getting to meet a lot of new people, who eventually became friends. Then got exposed to html and css and other stuff which eventually got me thinking that I could redesign this thing...and soon got into reading about designs and other materials. But there's a catch. Being the procrastinator that I am, the next evolution to this blog prooved to be elusive and found myself at a stump. Do I pursue this? This is getting to be frustrating...so...I left.

And now...after a few reads here and there, a few pix posted, I envied them all over again. And so, i'm back, hopefully with a new drive to do something creative with my blog...

Welcome to Biglaan!
