SJB (St John Bosco Parish)
A couple weeks ago, I was early to hear the mass at SJB. The mass was 4pm and I was there by 3.. nothing better to do at home so...tambay..
Before, when I was considered a "youth", (still am though, according to the vatican, article something..hehehe..) ang tambayan ko ay ang simbahan..not because I was religious or anything but.. i belonged in a choir / group. Still am a member but in those days, dami kong groups. Sa mga barkada (mga 'veterans' baga), ako ang pinakamaraming sinalihang choir. I think it was six or five choirs. Naghanap ng "feeling of belonginess"-sorta.
Anyway, the place (parish/church) was always full of choir members and youth council members and maingay dahil sa daming activities.. ngayon, haay.. halos wala. Panahon lang talaga ang nakapagbago..
So, dahil maaga ako, i strolled down memory lane..below are the pix

From top to bottom (the walkway; the cross on the dome; the altar; the garden beside the church - there used to be huge tree there; the steps in which we usually made tambay before a mass; the hanging crucifix on the altar)
